Why Choose a Gravel Bike
- You Want to Ride Off the Beaten Track – If you’re planning to tackle briddleways, forest tracks, or old railway paths, a gravel bike’s wider tyres and stronger frame give you the grip and comfort you need. Standard bikes struggle on rougher terrain, but a gravel bike smooths out the bumps.
- You Want Speed & Versatility – Unlike mountain bikes, gravel bikes are built to be fast on the road and capable off-road, making them perfect for mixed-terrain rides. This is your bike if you want to explore beyond the city without sacrificing speed.
- You’re Planning a Longer Ride – Gravel bikes are designed for endurance, with a comfortable riding position that makes them great for long-distance cycling, whether you’re heading deep into the Cotswolds countryside or taking on a multi-day adventure.
- You Like the Challenge – E-bikes make hills effortless, but if you enjoy earning your climbs and descents, a gravel bike gives you the freedom to push yourself and tackle more adventurous routes.
